D’Anna Harper’s legal practice spans eight years and is dedicated to handling litigation and arbitration of disputes involving securities, employment transitions (non-competes and U-5s), various investment products, business fraud and breach of contract claims. Her prior representations involved high net worth individuals and financial institutions matters. She also routinely advises financial institutions, broker-dealers and registered investment advisers on a variety of regulatory matters concerning capital markets activities, sales practice issues, compliance and supervisory procedures, margin and capital requirements, as well as alternative investment offerings, marketing materials, and business product expansions.
Ms. Harper is a creative problem solver and her prior experience of six years in the financial services industry as a licensed registered representative before practicing law, has provided her with a unique insight into the challenges facing regulated firms and a business-minded approach to resolving matters. Prior to joining Reif Law Group, P.C., she was a securities attorney with Bressler, Amery & Ross and other boutique securities law firms, where she focused her practice in regulatory enforcement, compliance, and securities litigation.
Ms. Harper earned her undergraduate degree from Allegheny College in 2001 and graduated with honors from New York Law School in 2011. She is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey state courts and before the U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey.
